School Fund

The AHS Fund helps us to enrich the curriculum and develop the school's facilities to ensure that every student is able to fulfil their potential, wherever their strengths lie. Support from our Parents, our Alumnae and our wider community allows us to provide the outstanding education you expect and the students deserve. 

We always commit to meet the curriculum needs from our income. We cannot however, fund all our enrichment offerings and any significant improvements to our facilities from our school budget alone. To go that extra mile we need the support of our parent body, and the best way for you to provide that support is by regular monthly giving. A parent giving £20 per month over a 5-year period will give £1,200; with gift aid this would be worth £1,500 to the School. Imagine if every parent who could afford this sum made the commitment we would raise over £1,000,000. That would build us whole new creative arts centre to boost interactive activity. 

You can help us redress this major impact on the school!  

Previous donations and campaigns have allowed us to build our Sports Hall, our Sixth Form Study Centre, stock our re-designed Library, refurbish our Science Laboratories and most recently, completely refurbish the Tower Block. This is in addition to a wide range of smaller-scale projects, which all students have benefitted from. The Fund also support those students whose families find it hard to find the money to pay for trips and activities but who fall short of the government-provided support through Pupil Premium.
